The highest value of merger and acquisition (M&A) deals in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) in 2022 was recorded in the energy and utilities sector, at nearly 14.7 billion euros. Industrials followed, as M&A deals in that industry were worth over 5.8 billion euros in the same year.
