Over the period of a decade since 2009, Henkel's share of sales in Western Europe decreased. The multinational company for detergents, hygiene and personal products, generated 27 percent of its shares in this region in 2022. Back in 2009 this share was as high as 39 percent.
In 2023, the breakdown of sales by region were published for the whole of Europe instead of just Western Europe - the continent accounted for 38 percent of total sales that year.
