UK: online revenue trend in home & leisure during Covid-19 2020

During the months of March and April, when the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis hit the United Kingdom (UK) at a large scale, the year-on-year growth rate of the online revenue of home and leisure retail sector has generally increased week to week in the UK. The weeks following March 8, 2020 saw a sharp increase in percentage change of online revenue of home and leisure items, with the week ending April 5, 2020 and onwards having a 200 percent higher revenue compared to the same period in the previous year.
