Forecast. The 14th coordinated population projection is based on certain conjectures about the birth rate, life expectancy and the balance of moving in and moving out of Germany. The calculation displayed is based on the 1 G2-L2-W1 model (moderate development of birth rate and life expectancy with a low migration balance): 1.55 children per woman (G2), life expectancy at birth in 2070 for boys 84.6 years/ for girls 88.2 years (L2), average migration balance 180,000 persons per year (W1).
