Increase in buying virtual goods among U.S. gamers 2022, by platform
According to a study conducted in October 2022, 20 percent of adult gamers in the United States who played on smart TVs were planning to increase their purchases of virtual and digital goods within the next year. Computer and mobile gamers were the most likely to increase their purchases in the upcoming year, with 27 percent of both groups stating that they intended to buy more virtual goods.
