Binge drinking among senior consumers in Italy in 2021, by gender and age group

During 2021, there was higher alcohol consumption and abuse among male seniors in Italy in comparison to their female counterparts. Indeed, around 33 percent of male consumers aged 65 to 74 binge drank, compared to 9.3 percent of female consumers belonging to the same age group.
