In 2022, the leading obstacle affecting shoppers in Germany has been the rising prices for everyday grocery products. Nearly 70 percent of in-store shoppers stated they had felt the impact of increased grocery prices when shopping. Approximately two in five German consumers have also had issues with products being out of stock, both online and in physical stores.
