According to a survey conducted in May 2022 in the United States, Republicans are overall less in favor of approving different environmental policies to reduce the effects of climate change, when compared to Democrats. For instance, around 90 percent of Democrat respondents agreed on requiring power companies to use more renewable energy, whereas only some 49 percent of Republican respondents shared the same opinion.
