Between 2022 and 2023, C-pop, or Chinese pop, conversations grew by almost 1600 percent on Instagram. Discussions about Jellabiya, a traditional one-piece Egyptian garment, saw year-on-year increases of 769 percent, and Latin American culture topics saw a 479 percent increase on Facebook.
