Popular OTT content service types South Korea 2023, by platform

According to a survey on video streaming service content conducted in South Korea in May 2023, domestic dramas were the most popular type of content on Netflix, Tving, and Wavve at 65.3 percent, 67.7 percent, and 69 percent respondent share respectively. Domestic content was overall very popular among respondents of all services, except for Disney Plus users. Among respondents using Disney Plus over 70 percent stated they preferred to watch foreign movies on the platform.
