Number of travel and tourism jobs in China 2019-2033
In 2022, there were around 62.9 million jobs in the travel and tourism industry in China, which represented approximately eight percent of all the jobs in the country. Employment situation in the Chinese travel and tourism industry deteriorated during the COVID-19 pandemic, however, the job numbers were forecasted to grow by around 18 percent in 2023.
