Share of gaming genres Saudi Arabia 2023, by gamer type
In a survey conducted in 2023, amongst respondents first person shooter games were played by 58 percent of professional gamers in Saudi Arabia. Role playing and strategy games were equally as popular among professional gamers, at 25 percent. Likewise, racing, fighting, third person shooter, and battle arena games were each played by 16.7 percent of professional gamers. Role playing games were the most popular genre amongst casual gamers in the country.
