LP/EP shipments in the U.S. 1998-2023

In 2023, 43.2 million LPs and EPs were shipped in the United States, up from 40.5 million a year earlier. Sales of LPs and EPs have been steadily increasing since 2016 as the format underwent a resurgence in popularity, in contrast to CD albums sales which are in decline.
