Number of digital 3D screens in the U.S. & Canada 2007-2021
In 2021, there were approximately 14.7 thousand digital 3D cinema screens in Canada and the United States, down from nearly 17 thousand in 2017. This represents a decline of more than 13 percent over four years. The number of 3D films released in the U.S. and Canada declined by over 77 percent between 2017 and 2021.
