This statistic shows the value of total retail sales volumes through textile, clothing and footwear stores in Great Britain from 2005 to 2022. In 2020, approximately 38.3 billion British pounds worth of goods were sold through textile, clothing and footwear stores. This was the lowest value recorded since 2008. Figures recovered in 2022, amounting to roughly 49 billion pounds, slightly below 2019 levels.
