In the first quarter of 2022, roughly 31 percent of the YouTube influencer marketing videos of brands and companies that activated YouTube contest and giveaway campaigns with sponsored content achieving at least 10,000 views were sponsored by players from the food and drink industry. The second strongest industries were gaming, entertainment, as well as auto/transportation, having sponsored 19 percent of the analyzed contest and giveaway videos each.
