Transparency of online content and advertisements in Germany in 2018
A total of 87 percent of respondents were in favor of online social networks and other Internet platforms making it clear during election periods what content and publications are online advertisements, and who is paying for them. Just six percent were opposed (5 percent somewhat, 1 percent strongly). The majority of respondents (58 percent) were strongly in favor of transparency of online content and advertisements during election periods.
