Passenger number of the major private railways in Japan FY 2013-2022
In the fiscal year 2022, the number of passengers transported by the major private railway companies in Japan amounted to approximately 8.75 billion, increasing from 7.86 billion in the preceding year. The private railway company with the most traffic was Tokyo Metro.
