Leading investor countries in Africa 2010-2019, by number of new jobs created
Chinese foreign investment projects created, annually, some 18.6 thousand new jobs in Africa between 2010 and 2019. The Asian country was, therefore, the leading investor in the continent in terms of job creation. The United States followed, with an average of 12.1 thousand new jobs generated per year in the same period. In its turn, French projects in Africa opened close to 7.8 thousand new positions in the continent, yearly.
