In 2022, the volume of cargo and mail transported by Air China Group was around 0.84 million metric tons, representing a drop of almost 29 percent from the previous year. Cargo and mail volumes carried by Air China Group increased steadily until 2017, before dropping significantly since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
