Share of U.S. adults who would spend over 100 thousand USD to travel to space 2021
When surveyed in September 2021, just under 20 percent of respondents said that they would spend more than 100 thousand U.S. dollars to travel to space in the United States. As it stands, seats on Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo are estimated to start at 250 thousand U.S. dollars, a figure that the majority of people would not be able to pay.
