Number of pure electric city buses and trolleybuses in China 2016-2022
As of 2022, there were approximately 455,500 pure electric city buses and trolleybuses operating in Chinese cities, an increase of 35,900 from the previous year. Over the past seven years, the share of all-electric buses in China's fleet has increased sharply, to 64.8 percent in 2022.
