U.S. metaverse personal info sharing unwillingness 2022

An August 2022 survey of metaverse enthusiasts in the United States found that 46 percent of respondents were not more willing to give up their personal information or data in the metaverse than they would in a regular online setting. Overall, 55 percent of respondents who were unwilling to do said it was because they were not sure how or who their data was going to be handled by.
