Common cybersecurity concerns of global company leaders 2023, by country

According to a 2023 survey of Chief Information Security Officers (CISO) of companies worldwide, the board of directors' three leading cybersecurity concerns were reputational damage, loss of current customers, and impact on business valuation. Reputational damage appeared to be the main concern for business leaders in the United States, Spain, Singapore, and Brazil, with between 43 and 45 percent of CISOs of each market choosing that answer. Roughly 43 percent of the respondents from Germany said the main concern for the board of directors in their companies would be the impact on business valuation.
