The total number of passengers traveling by Pegasus Airlines increased gradually until 2020 when it decreased significantly to 14.71 million passengers due to nationwide lockdowns and border closures caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The company increased passenger numbers to over 20 million in 2021 and roughly 27 million in 2022. Pegasus Airlines, also known as Flypgs, is a Turkish low-cost carrier.
