U.S.: leading factors for consumers when choosing their next vehicle's brand 2023
In an October 2023 survey, price was cited by 59 percent of U.S. respondents as a leading factor influencing their choice of brand for their next vehicle purchase. This was by far the most cited factor, with product quality and vehicle performance only mentioned by 57 and 52 percent of participants. Brand affiliation were the least important factor in consumers' decisions, with only five percent of respondents mentioning it.
