U.S. Gen Z: weekly time spent interacting with others on social media 2022, by gender
A 2022 survey conducted in the United States found that 20 percent of male Generation Z online users spent about 10 or more hours per week interacting with people on social media. Overall, 21 percent of female Gen Z users stated they spent around one to three hours per week interacting with others on social media. One in 10 male respondents reported spending around seven to nine hours talking to people on online networks per week.
