According to an April 2024 survey, voters in the United States were fairly consistent on whether they considered Cornel West favorable, with 13 percent of voters aged 34 to 49 considering the 2024 presidential candidate favorable, compared to 12 who considered him unfavorable. West, formerly a candidate for both the People's Party and the Green Party, announced that he would switch his affiliation and run as an independent candidate in October 2023.
