In 2021, around 38 percent of revenue generated by the advertising industry in South Korea came from the online media sector. This put it far ahead of other advertisement media, with advertising and printing services coming in second at about 20 percent. In total, the advertising industry in South Korea achieved annual sales revenue of around 18.9 trillion South Korean won that year.
