Italy: spending change on Amazon during COVID-19 2020

According to a survey from March 2020, 37 percent of respondents in Italy believed that their online spending on Amazon was going to increase in the next month. In March 9, 2020, the Italian government imposed a national lockdown. Italian inhabitants were allowed to leave their houses only for strict necessities such as work or health circumstances.

Currently, the coronavirus (COVID-19) has infected people in over 100 countries across six continents. Italy registered the second largest number of cases worldwide after the United States.
