Canada: monthly time spent on select social apps 2023
In 2023, TikTok was the social media app on which users spent the most time per month in Canada. Overall, a monthly average of 38 hours and 47 minutes were spent on the short-form video app per user. Furthermore, over 19 hours per month were spent on YouTube. Meta-owned Instagram and Facebook Messenger also saw high rater of monthly user engagement, with 12 hours and 33 minutes, and five hours and 27 minutes, respectively.
