Attitudes towards the cancer risk of obesity and inactivity in Europe 2019
In 2019, 55.1 percent of British people surveyed believed that being overweight increases a person's risk of developing cancer, although Great Britain is the only country shown in which a majority of respondents believed this. Additionally, over 40 percent of Brits thoughts that a lack of exercise would increase a person's risk of cancer.
