U.S. young users online social activities during COVID-19 pandemic 2021, by frequency
According to a June survey of kids and teens in the United States, 70 percent of respondents played video games with friends online. Additionally, almost five in 10 respondents who played video games online to socialize did so every week. Video calls and online meetings on Zoom or Facetime were also common, with 56 percent of the surveyed young users reporting to have done so in order to keep their social connections during the coronavirus outbreaks in 2021.
