In the four weeks ending on the 20th of February 2021, the total sales of all chocolate candy amounted to close to 1.4 billion U.S. dollars in the United States. Just under a third of the total chocolate candy sold around Valentine's Day in the United States was seasonal chocolate candy. Seasonal non-chocolate candy generated sales of less than 90 million U.S. dollars.
