The 'milk price war' began in March 2014 as major retailers including Tesco, Morrisons and Aldi started cutting the price of 4 pint bottles of milk to 1 British pound (GBP) and under. Of survey respondents, 54 percent believe that supermarkets should focus on lowering prices of other products ahead of milk.
