Distribution of publishing employees in the U.S. 2017-2018, by ethnicity
According to the most recently available data, just three percent of employees working in the U.S. publishing industry in 2018 were of Hispanic origin, down by one percent from the previous year. The workforce was largely comprised of white workers, though there was a small increase in mixed race and Asian employees between 2017 and 2018.
