Consumer concerns about targeted ads in Belgium 2022
During a 2022 survey, 62 percent of responding consumers from Belgium stated that the fact that their personal data could be used for other purposes and/or they did not know with whom it might be shared was a very important concern of theirs regarding online targeted advertising. In the meantime, 55 percent of respondents expressed concerns regarding their online data collected or a profile made about them without knowing it or explicitly given a chance to agree.
