Gun ownership in the U.S. 2022, by ethnicity
According to a survey conducted in the United States in 2022, white respondents were more likely to either personally own a gun or live in a gun owning household than their non-white counterparts. During the survey, 36 percent of white Americans reported that they personally owned a firearm, compared to 27 percent of non-white respondents.
