Gen X consumers' expectations for AR apps when shopping U.S. 2022
According to a survey conducted in the United States in August 2022, functionalities such as price comparison across different retailers, or the ability to work with any mobile device, store or retailer were the leading expectations Gen X consumers had about AR apps when shopping. Around one-third of the survey respondents stated that they would personally expect these from AR apps. That said, around one quarter of those surveyed had no interest in functionalities that could potentially be offered by AR apps while shopping.
