France has the highest green hydrogen capacity target for 2030 amongst European Union countries, at 6.5 gigawatts. This is followed by Germany and Italy, both with a capacity target of five gigawatts. When it comes to projected consumption potential, however, it is Germany that takes the lead, with a consumption potential surpassing 25 gigawatt-hours. Meanwhile, the figures for France and Italy stand at 12 and 11.8 gigawatt-hours, respectively.
