Valentine’s Day online shoppers in the U.S. 2017-2023
In the United States, online shopping for Valentine's Day significantly increased between 2019 and 2022, going from approximately 27 percent of online shoppers to more than 40 percent in 2022. However, with the return of in-store shopping, the share of consumers planning to do their Valentine's Day shopping online decreased to roughly 35 percent in 2023.
