Investment in public transportation infrastructure in France, by recipient 2010-2020
In 2020, the infrastructure investment for public transportation in France amounted to approximately 6.7 billion euros, from which around 37.5 percent went to the statutory corporation Société du Grand Paris (SGP). The SGP is essentially responsible for the planning and the construction of the Grand Paris Public Transport Network (RTGP), known as the Grand Paris Express, a public transit network consisting of four automated metro lines around Paris, and the extension of two existing lines.
