Security costs on public transportation in France 2011-2020
In the past decade, the security costs for public transport in France experienced an upward trend peaking at 206.3 million euros in 2019. A year later, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the estimated security costs of French public transportation companies dropped to under 200 million euros, a year-on-year decrease of approximately 3.1 percent.
