As of March 2023, almost 74 percent of marketers surveyed in Brazil said the brands they worked for evaluated the adequacy and brand values alignment of an influencer suggested by an advertising agency during their selection or approval process. About 72 percent mentioned engagement as a criterion, while nearly 71 percent cited their connection with the brand's universe. According to the same study, over half of responding Brazilian companies' annual influencer marketing budget amounted to less than 700 thousand Brazilian reals.
