Global iOS app CPT in the Apple App Store 2022, by category

Apple started using cost per tap (CPT) as pricing module for its search campaigns in June 2022. Between January and September 2023, CPT for sport apps on the Apple App Store amounted to almost 10 U.S. dollars. Finance apps presented the second most expensive CPT for search ads on the Apple App Store, at approximately 3.60 U.S. dollars. By comparison, photo and video apps reported CPT of less than 0.60 U.S. dollars.
