A 2022 survey of device users in the United States found that roughly 30 percent of respondents between 35 and 54 years unplugged from their digital devices for at least two hours daily. In the age group of 18-24 years, 27 percent of respondents reported taking a break from their digital devices each day. A further 29 percent of those between 25 and 34 years were practicing digital detoxing on a weekly basis.
