Major sales channel choices to stock up during coronavirus in Taiwan 2020
According to a survey on consumer behavior during coronavirus outbreak conducted by Rakuten Insight in April 2020, around 19 percent of panic buying in Taiwan happened on e-commerce platforms, the second popular sales channel for stocking up groceries after supermarkets and hypermarkets. The same survey found that most Taiwanese consumers stocked up on dry food items, toilet paper and other hygiene paper products.
