In Hungary, in the second quarter of 2020, the volume of gross domestic product recorded a decrease of over 13 percent due to the consequences of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The drop in GDP was followed by a gradual increase. As of last quarter of 2023, the gross domestic production increased by 0.5 percent.
