According to a survey conducted in June 2021, 12 percent of Italian consumers were extremely likely to regularly purchase plant-based meat if it had identical taste and texture to conventional meat, and 19 percent were very likely to purchase it. On the other hand, 18 percent were not likely to purchase it at all.
