Locations consumers prefer purchasing groceries by age U.S. 2023

According to a survey carried out in the United States in June 2023, overall the majority of each age group preferred buying groceries in-store rather than online. Older shoppers seemed to prefer in-store shopping over online, compared to the younger ones. Some 60 percent of those aged 55-65 preferred doing their grocery shopping offline, while 15 percent of those aged 18-24 preferred doing it online.
